The Curriculum
What Students Build Mastery In
From their first circuit to deploying AI at the edge — every lesson is a step toward the future your child will actually live in.
We take students on a journey from discovery to mastery — through IoT, Coding, Cybersecurity, and Generative AI, all the way to Agentic and Physical AI. These aren't trends. They are the foundational skills of every career, every industry, and every opportunity in the decades ahead.
Screen time is inevitable. The question is what it builds. Synapse turns hours in front of a screen into hands-on engineering, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving — productive, educational screen time that compounds. Not scrolling. Building.
Logic & Computational Thinking
Students learn to break problems into steps, write conditions, and reason through systems — using Scratch and MakeCode block editors before moving to text-based code.
Sensors & Signals
Reading light, temperature, and motion with micro:bit V2, Arduino UNO R4 WiFi, and XIAO ESP32S3 Sense — and responding to it in code.
Robotics & Motion
Servos, motors, and movement with VEX and Lego systems — turning code into physical action.
AI Prompt Literacy
Students work with Sam AI to learn prompt engineering — communicating with AI, not just using it.
3D Design & Fabrication
From digital model to physical object — students design in 3D and bring it to life on a printer.
Cybersecurity
Understanding threats, protecting systems, and thinking like a defender. Age-appropriate across all three tracks — from online safety awareness to ethical hacking and network defense.
IoT & Connectivity
Connecting hardware to the internet with sensors, Bluetooth, and WiFi — students build devices that send data, trigger remote actions, and talk to the world.

Our Story
Why Synapse Built This
Synapse has been doing hands-on STEM in Orlando since 2016 — circuits, microcontrollers, 3D design, real code, real hardware. Over 2,500 students later, one thing hasn't changed: parents want to continue that level of learning at home.
So we built it ourselves. The Synapse Platform brings everything we've learned in the lab — directly to families nationwide.
